Mediation system which is established pursuant to the law on amicable settlement of disputes is structured by Ministry of Justice. Mediators who have obtained their title after completing a special training and passing a central examination are enrolled in a register within the ministry and monitored by the ministry. The ministry puts great support behind this structure which is believed to reduce the workload of courts. All this structure is organized by the Department of Mediation within the Ministry of Justice.
